Hello! I’m a proud Eastern Shore native, balancing life as a 911 dispatcher, dedicated student, and mom to a wonderful daughter. My life and career have been rooted in service and community, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a role where every day brings an opportunity to make a difference. I’m currently a student with ODU Global, diving into healthcare administration with a focus on public health. I’m especially interested in how policies can be shaped to better support frontline workers like myself, and I plan to channel this interest into meaningful policy work after graduation. In my final semester, I’m excited to hone my research and professional skills, exploring healthcare consulting to gain fresh perspectives on improving healthcare delivery. My career goals include transitioning into healthcare administration, where I hope to bring empathy and resilience to a larger scale of impact.Beyond the professional realm, I’m all about adventures with my daughter and taking time to center myself. Free time is rare, but I love diving into a good book, especially psychological thrillers that keep me guessing. Fun fact: As a 911 dispatcher, I once met someone I helped save by guiding her husband through CPR over the phone. It was an unforgettable experience to see the real-life impact of my work!A bit about my personal goals—I’m working on self-growth, setting goals around emotional stability, and building more genuine connections. I firmly believe that learning and growing never stop, and I’m always seeking ways to be the best version of myself for my daughter and my community.
